Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by CV Clinic Ireland.

By purchasing, booking or using a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

CV Clinic Ireland provides services including:

  • CV writing and career positioning

  • LinkedIn profile support

  • interview preparation

  • job-search support

  • career coaching

  • graduate career support

  • SME hiring and candidate-screening support

The exact scope of your service will be confirmed before work begins.

2. No guarantee of employment

CV Clinic Ireland provides professional support designed to improve your positioning, preparation and job-search process.

No guarantee is made that you will:

  • receive an interview

  • receive a job offer

  • receive a particular salary

  • secure employment within a specific timeframe

Hiring decisions remain entirely with the relevant employer.

3. Client responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and truthful.

CV Clinic Ireland will not knowingly include false, misleading or fabricated information in a CV, application, LinkedIn profile or other document.

You are responsible for reviewing final documents before submitting them to an employer.

4. CV and LinkedIn services

Where a CV or LinkedIn service is purchased, the service may include:

  • a positioning consultation

  • document review

  • rewriting and restructuring

  • role alignment

  • one revision round, where stated

Unless otherwise agreed, additional revisions or substantial changes in direction may incur an additional fee.

5. Interview preparation

Interview preparation is based on the information available at the time, including the job description, your CV and any information supplied by the employer.

CV Clinic Ireland cannot guarantee which questions will be asked or the outcome of the interview.

6. Career coaching

Career coaching is a collaborative and exploratory service.

Coaching is not:

  • psychotherapy

  • medical advice

  • legal advice

  • financial advice

  • a guarantee of a particular career outcome

You remain responsible for decisions and actions arising from coaching conversations.

7. SME hiring support

Where hiring support is provided to a business:

  • the employer retains responsibility for the final hiring decision

  • CV Clinic Ireland may provide screening, shortlisting, interview design and selection support

  • no guarantee is made regarding the performance or suitability of any candidate after appointment

  • the employer remains responsible for complying with employment, equality, data protection and recruitment law

8. Fees and payment

Prices will be shown on the website or agreed in writing before work begins.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required before the service begins.

Prices shown to consumers should be treated as the total price payable unless clearly stated otherwise.

9. Online bookings and cancellation rights

Where a consumer purchases a service online, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

Irish consumer law generally provides a 14-day cooling-off period for many online service contracts.

If you ask CV Clinic Ireland to begin providing the service during that 14-day period, you may be required to pay for the portion of the service already provided if you later cancel.

Where the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period with your prior agreement and acknowledgement, statutory cancellation rights may no longer apply where permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Appointment cancellations

For scheduled consultations, coaching or interview-preparation sessions:

  • more than 48 hours’ notice: the session may be rescheduled without charge

  • less than 48 hours’ notice: the session may be treated as used or may incur a rescheduling fee

  • non-attendance without notice may be treated as a completed session

I would keep this policy consistent across the site and booking system.

11. Turnaround times

Any turnaround time provided is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a fixed deadline.

Where a client requires urgent work, this must be agreed before booking.

Delays caused by missing information, delayed responses or changes in scope may affect the delivery date.

12. Refunds

If a service has not yet begun, any applicable statutory cancellation rights will be respected.

Once work has begun, any refund will take account of the work already completed and applicable consumer rights.

If a service is not delivered as agreed, the client retains their statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

13. Intellectual property

Final CVs, LinkedIn copy and other client-specific materials prepared for an individual client may be used by that client for their personal career purposes.

CV Clinic Ireland retains ownership of its:

  • templates

  • methodologies

  • frameworks

  • training materials

  • forms

  • processes

  • website content

These materials may not be copied, resold or commercially distributed without permission.

14. Confidentiality

Client information will be treated confidentially, subject to legal obligations and the Privacy Policy.

15. Third-party platforms

CV Clinic Ireland may make recommendations relating to LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment platforms or other third-party services.

CV Clinic Ireland is not responsible for the availability, functionality, decisions or policies of those third parties.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to applicable law, CV Clinic Ireland will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from:

  • hiring decisions

  • unsuccessful applications

  • employment decisions

  • changes made by employers or third-party platforms

  • information supplied inaccurately by the client

17. Fairness and consumer rights

These terms are intended to be fair and transparent.

Nothing in them removes or limits any statutory rights you have under Irish consumer law. Irish consumer contract terms must be fair and cannot give a business an unfair advantage over the consumer.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
